• This year MoonDrop will be held approx. 50 minutes outside of San Diego
• Direction to this years location will be given the day of. Just call the following numbers by 1pm on Friday August 13th: 858.635.1355
• Gates open at 4pm Friday August 13th
• Gates close at 2pm Sunday August 15th
• Vendors will be available on site
• You may camp out all weekend
• Cars will be verified for car occupancy
• You must acquire a wrist band from MoonDrop personnel in order to be on the private venue
• This event is ages 18 and up

RED SONYA discovered her passion for electronic music immediately after her move to southern California in 2000. After attending her first massive rave, she bought turntables. A year later, Red Sonya took San Diego by storm, and has not let up since. House music was her first vinyl fetish and after years of buying records her collection has grown to include downtempo, trip hop, funk, soul, and drum and bass. Whatever style of music Sonya plays, whether she’s rocking a moving dance floor, closing out the night, or dropping tracks at a restaurant, you’ll for sure hear funky bass lines, tripped out beats, and the smooth mixing that she is known for. Red Sonya has performed at various underground events, lounges, and clubs in Southern California and abroad. In San Diego, she has held DJ residencies at Airport Lounge, L5, and Kava Lounge to name a few.  From 2001 to 2006, she was an active member of the Vinyl Elements Crew. She dj’ed, promoted and helped produce “Reaction” which ran for over 4 1/2 years at the Honey Bee Hive. Since 2007, Red Sonya has been leading Lady Lush, a production company featuring a group of talented female DJ’s, Sonya’s promotions, and art direction from Andre Couturier Maitret.   You can also catch her dj’ing monthly for “Fresh Cuts” at Harney Sushi in Old Town San Diego every 4th Saturday of the month. A short list of dj’s Sonya has shared the decks with includes Garth, Diz, Luke Soloman, Gavin Hardkiss, Jamie Thinnes, Dizzy, Halo, Jon Tejada, Hector Moralez, Z-trip, and Reid Speed.

The Peacemaker began his DJ career under the moniker Ugly Bill in 1997, and helped shape the Kansas City rave scene by promoting and hosting events. In 1999 he migrated to So Cal and adopted his new moniker. Peacemaker's DJ style includes long smooth mixes, a wide variety of jungle with an emphasis on jump-up, and basslines that always drop right on time. Peacemaker's Special Technique stable includes workhorse DJ/promoters MK Ultra and Rebel Lion. The Special Technique crew have big plans for the music scene in 2010, including live and radio DJ appearances, event hosting, music production, and new mixes. Stay tuned!

Established in 2010, southern/classic rock cover, 5 piece band based out of san diego, ca. Red eye band is tee on Percussion/vocals, steve on GUITAR/VOCALS, George on GUITAR/VOCALS, joe on bass and mel on drums. 
The “red eye” name derived from the southern roots of our band leader, tee, originally from the Carolina’s and her love for red eye gravy with grits for breakfast, just one of the down home cookin items from her family’s table.
Tee wanted to bring some southern soul and feel to southern california stages, as she is proud of her Cherokee and southern heritage.   

Southern rock is our main focus as we hit audiences with covers from great artists such as lynyrd skynyrd, grateful dead, foghat, blackfoot, allman brothers, zz top, .38 special and so many more.
  RED EYE covers a great variety of good ole classic and southern tunes that you just don’t hear around here every day from other cover bands. With a female vocalist and two male vocalists, it enables our band to bring you a great combination of music that will surely entertain crowds!
